My name is Ana Carolina Varela, but you can call me Caro. I was born and raised in Miami, FL. The likelihood that I would become a lawyer was apparent to virtually everyone who met me after the age of five (I was both feisty and persuasive). I repeatedly shied away from this career path, but it finally took the economic crisis, three months in China, a job at Nordstrom, and some serious introspection to lead me to the conclusion that I should attend law school.
