I was born in Korea but was raised in many different countries including New Zealand, Japan, and the United States. Going to school and interacting with people from various cultural backgrounds made me interested in the relationship between cultural norms and people's behaviors. The reason why I came to law school is that I wanted to explore how cultural and social context shapes different laws and how they, in turn, affect norms of society. I have yet to decide on which area of law to focus on but I am excited to explore all the options.
